Alice Brown Chittenden was the grand dame of 19th century San Francisco, California artists. A graduate of what is now the San Francisco Art Insitute she is best known for her many paintings of flowers and of course in particular Roses. I discovered this painting in the collection of the now closed Fleischer Museum in Scottsdale, Arizona and arranged for it’s reproduction as a poster. The poster is printed in a high quality heavy weight satin paper. The poster measures 24 x 36 inches, Image Area 19 x 30 3/4 inches with a 1/4 gold rule around the image area. Poster design features the artists name and museum.
